Full house, no signal
Un lieu plein peut saturer les réseaux publics au moment même où la diffusion, la billetterie, les paiements et la sécurité en ont le plus besoin. Cables tie broadcast cameras down, and fans expect to share the moment. Operations need capacity that the crowd cannot take away.
Ce qui est mesuré
Every cell, every service
The network measures itself: capacity and latency by service on every cell, Wi-Fi coverage and load in concourses and stands, broadcast link quality for wireless cameras, and radio exposure in public areas near antennas at commissioning. Each reading carries its time and its quality flags.
- Measured
- Capacity · Latency · Wi-Fi load · Broadcast link quality · Radio exposure
Le nœud de base
Slices that hold at peak
The edge server processes broadcast and safety video on site, slices capacity between operations, broadcast and fans so each keeps what it needs at peak, and watches every cell and access point for problems during the event. Nothing is lost when a link drops; the node keeps it.
Radio et liaisons
Private 5G, Wi-Fi and fibre
A private 5G network carries operations, broadcast cameras and safety devices on reserved capacity, venue Wi-Fi carries fans and hospitality, and fibre links the venue to carriers, broadcasters and the cloud. Each link is chosen for the place, not from a catalogue.

Comment ça marche
From a goal to a replay
A late goal brings the whole stadium to its feet. Fan traffic spikes on Wi-Fi; payments and the safety cameras keep their slices, and a wireless camera on the touchline sends the replay to the broadcaster through the edge server within seconds.

Scope the services
The scope reads the venue, events, broadcast needs, operations and fan services, and carrier arrangements. Nexus Observatory Inc. returns the radio design, core and edge, service separation and a price per venue and per year. Every assumption in the scope is written down and priced.

Survey with a full house in mind
Crews survey stands, concourses and hospitality for cell and access point positions, cable routes and equipment rooms, with radio planning for a full venue. Findings are recorded with drawings. Every finding is kept with the site record for the crews who follow.

Spectrum and structures
Spectrum for the private network is licensed under local rules, the venue approves fixings on its structures, and broadcasters agree their slice. Every licence is kept with the venue record. Approvals are tracked site by site, so nothing waits unseen.

Build and test at load
Cells, access points, the core and the edge server are configured with service slices, enrolled with their identities and load-tested in the lab before shipping. Test results travel with the kit to the site. Nothing ships until the whole kit has passed its tests together.

Install between events
Crews install cells and access points on the structure, run cabling to equipment rooms, install the core and edge server, and connect fibre. Every point is recorded. The site record is updated before the crew leaves. Crews follow the site safety plan throughout the work.

Commission at a full event
Chaque nœud prouve son identité. Coverage and capacity are measured at a full event, broadcast links tested with the broadcaster, radio exposure checked in public areas and slices verified. Results are signed and kept with the site record. Acceptance is recorded with the owner before handover.

Run every event
Network operations see every cell, access point and slice live. Broadcast, payments and safety keep their capacity at peak, fans stay connected, and problems are fixed during the event. Reports for owners and funders come from the same record. Every alert and action is kept on the record.
De la commande à l’exploitation · Maintenance
Tune and update
After each event the network is tuned from the data, equipment checked, software updated in rings and the radio plan adjusted for new configurations. Every change is kept with the venue record. Spares and procedures travel with the crews. Maintenance history stays with each site for its whole life.

Built to the service requirements
The private network meets the 5G service requirements for dense venues and media production, Wi-Fi follows the international wireless LAN standard, and radio exposure in public areas is checked against international guidelines. Every event’s performance is kept. Records are open to the people who must check them.

01Le lieu et ses dangers
Où il fonctionne, et ce qui peut mal tourner.
Operating contextService requirements for 5G systems cover dense venues and media production, wireless LANs follow the international Wi-Fi standard, and radio exposure in public areas is assessed against international guidelines. Venue operators separate operations, broadcast and public traffic.
Dangers
- Public networks overloaded on event days
- Broadcast cameras tied to cables
- Payments and ticketing failing at peak
- Safety teams without reliable radio data
- Radio exposure questions from the public
