Nature: habitat measured without disturbing it: what is moving at the frontier. The loop, step by step: 1. A valley site at first light. 2. Sensor, link, edge and console stand ready. 3. Cloud and wind sweep up the valley. 4. The station and the vault register it. 5. Time and place are fixed to every sample. 6. Signed packets hop over the radio link. 7. Relays carry the packets without reading them. 8. The edge verifies every signature first. 9. The edge model checks it against its limit. 10. Only a confirmed result leaves the edge. 11. The alert reaches the operator console. 12. The console shows the evidence with the alert. 13. The whole chain is archived for audit. 14. Everything settles back to idle.

  1. Nature · Frontier

    Habitat, measured without disturbing it

Bioacoustic and camera networks, forest-fire detection and fire weather, land-cover change from orbit and drone, and habitat monitoring that turns permit conditions and restoration commitments into measurements. Needs: species presence by sound and image, fire weather and ignition, land-cover and canopy change, soil and microclimate and evidence for permits and restoration.

  2. At the frontier

    Event-based and neuromorphic cameras

Sensors that report changes per pixel at microsecond rates with very low power. We integrate it. We take it to a real nature site under a written pilot plan before it becomes a release. Every reading and every change leaves a record that can be checked later.

    Specification
    EMVA 1288 (reference for characterisation)
  3. At the frontier

    Quantum magnetometers and gravimeters

Atomic sensors with higher sensitivity and less drift for geophysics and navigation backup. We integrate it. We take it to a real nature site under a written pilot plan before it becomes a release. It runs on the open Observatory Protocol, so other providers can join.

    Specification
    IAGA observatory practice (reference)
  4. At the frontier

    Distributed fibre-optic sensing

Acoustic, temperature and strain sensing along existing fibre for seismic, slope and pipeline monitoring. We design, integrate and deploy it. We take it to a real nature site under a written pilot plan before it becomes a release. The same design repeats from the first site to the last.

    Specification
IEC 61757 series (fibre optic sensors)
  5. At the frontier

    Machine-learning calibration of sensor networks

Correcting low-cost sensors against reference sites with models whose drift is monitored. We design, integrate and operate it. We take it to a real nature site under a written pilot plan before it becomes a release. Crews, software and records stay the same as the network grows.

    Specification
    CEN/TS 17660-1:2021
  6. At the frontier

    Environmental DNA autosamplers

Unattended water sampling for biodiversity and pathogen detection. We integrate it. We take it to a real nature site under a written pilot plan before it becomes a release. Crews, software and records stay the same as the network grows.

    Specification
GOOS Essential Ocean Variables (biology and ecosystems)
  7. At the frontier

    Cosmic-ray neutron soil moisture

Field-scale soil moisture and snow water from neutron counts. We design, integrate and deploy it. We take it to a real nature site under a written pilot plan before it becomes a release. Service levels are written as numbers you can measure.

    Specification
    IAEA cosmic-ray neutron sensing guidance
  8. Trust

Every node proves what it is

A node joins only after its hardware root of trust answers an attestation challenge. Keys stay in secure hardware, software arrives signed, and every reading carries a signature, so its origin can be checked by anyone downstream without asking us.

  9. Time and place

Every reading carries when and where

Readings are stamped against a disciplined clock, from satellite time or a PTP grandmaster, together with the station position and its siting record. When time or position is degraded, the record says so instead of hiding it, and every analyst downstream sees the same warning.

  10. Updates

    Updates in rings, with rollback

Software and configuration reach the fleet in rings: a canary site first, then a few, then all, each ring gated on health and data completeness. A failed gate stops the wave and returns each node to its last good release, without a site visit.

  11. Operations

Every node watched, every incident closed

The operations console shows every node with its state, its plan and its evidence. Alerts arrive with their data and a runbook; acknowledging one opens a work order, and an incident closes only when the cause is recorded and the fix verified.

  12. What you get

    Biodiversity and habitat monitoring

Acoustic sensors, camera traps that exclude people, eDNA sampling logistics and EO habitat change for nature programmes and disclosures. Delivered as managed service and data licence, for conservation programmes, corporates, lenders, agencies. Scale: Landscape scale. Service levels are written as numbers you can measure on your own dashboard.

Tell us the sites, the measurements and the people who will use them. We reply with a design and a scope for nature. An engineer replies with a survey proposal and a scope, and the plan grows from one site to the network you need, at your pace.
