Communities: connectivity and observation the community owns: where it is deployed. The loop, step by step: 1. Evening falls on the village. 2. Sensor, link, edge and console stand ready. 3. Lamps and radios raise the evening load. 4. The home meter logs the rising demand. 5. Time and place are fixed to every sample. 6. Cell and dish carry it to the edge. 7. The relay forwards sealed packets untouched. 8. Signatures are checked before any model runs. 9. The local edge sizes tonight’s battery draw. 10. The edge releases confirmed results only. 11. The operator and the clinic see the plan. 12. The alert arrives with its evidence attached. 13. Storage carries the village through the night. 14. Sensors check that the response worked. 15. Record, proof and action are archived together. 16. Dawn returns and the panels take over.

Connectivity and observation the community owns
Community cellular and broadband, microgrids that keep them on, and local weather, water and ice stations, designed so the community holds the network, the data and the decisions about both. Needs: coverage where carriers do not build, power for remote sites, local weather, water and ice, data governance held by the community and local skills to operate.
Use case
Community cellular and sensing
Small cells with an open core, satellite backhaul and solar power, plus a sensing overlay, for a community that owns its network. For indigenous organisations and Indigenous-owned service providers, remote communities. Data products: coverage and service maps in the regulator’s format, speed-test and uptime evidence and community sensing overlay (weather, water, air).
- Standards
- 3GPP LTE/NR · ISED Access Licensing Framework (SAB-002-26) · Local data-governance principles (OCAP) where applicable
Use case
Remote microgrid observatory
Solar, storage and power-quality telemetry with a weather station and a small cell, for a community that is reducing diesel. For remote communities, utilities, Indigenous power producers. Data products: diesel offset and power-quality records and solar-resource measurements. Drawn against IEEE 1547, IEEE 2030.5 and National electrical codes.
- Standards
- IEEE 1547 · IEEE 2030.5 · National electrical codes
Use case
Northern civil observatory
Weather, geodetic and space-weather instruments with communications and power at a remote northern site, built for civil use that infrastructure programmes may share. For natural-resource and environment departments, northern communities. Data products: weather and space-weather observations and search-and-rescue support data.
- Standards
- WMO-No. 8 · IGS RINEX · INTERMAGNET
Use case
Highway corridor coverage and safety sensing
Small cells with satellite backhaul along an unserved highway, with road-weather and camera nodes. For provinces and states, carriers. Data products: coverage maps and road-condition observations. Drawn against 3GPP LTE/NR and NTCIP 1204. Every reading and every change leaves a record that can be checked later.
- Standards
- 3GPP LTE/NR · NTCIP 1204
Use case
Deployable incident observatory
A trailer or vehicle with a cell on wheels, satellite backhaul, a mesh kit, a drone and weather and air-quality nodes for an incident base. For emergency management agencies, event organisers, utilities. Data products: incident-base connectivity and situational observations. Drawn against 3GPP LTE/NR, OASIS CAP 1.2 and National incident-management systems.
- Standards
- 3GPP LTE/NR · OASIS CAP 1.2 · National incident-management systems
Trust
Every node proves what it is
A node joins only after its hardware root of trust answers an attestation challenge. Keys stay in secure hardware, software arrives signed, and every reading carries a signature, so its origin can be checked by anyone downstream without asking us.
Time and place
Every reading carries when and where
Readings are stamped against a disciplined clock, from satellite time or a PTP grandmaster, together with the station position and its siting record. When time or position is degraded, the record says so instead of hiding it, and every analyst downstream sees the same warning.
How it scales
One base unit, repeated
A programme starts with one base node and the instruments it reads. A station adds power and radio, a site adds a relay, a fleet repeats the proven site across many places, and a network federates fleets through edge and core. Capacity grows by adding units, never by replacing what works.
Updates
Updates in rings, with rollback
Software and configuration reach the fleet in rings: a canary site first, then a few, then all, each ring gated on health and data completeness. A failed gate stops the wave and returns each node to its last good release, without a site visit.
Operations
Every node watched, every incident closed
The operations console shows every node with its state, its plan and its evidence. Alerts arrive with their data and a runbook; acknowledging one opens a work order, and an incident closes only when the cause is recorded and the fix verified.
What you get
Municipal sensing and connectivity layers
City-wide LPWAN or private 5G as a shared layer for public sensors and services. Delivered as managed service, for cities, regional governments. Scale: City-wide. Service levels are written as numbers you can measure on your own dashboard. Changes are versioned, tested and reversible.

Tell us the sites, the measurements and the people who will use them. We reply with a design and a scope for communities. An engineer replies with a survey proposal and a scope, and the plan grows from one site to the network you need, at your pace.
