Business model · Nexus Observatory Inc.

How the company earns.

Nexus Observatory Inc. earns from what it supplies, integrates, runs and licenses, and from the marketplace it operates in the Field Deployment Studio. Buyers get one accountable integrator, suppliers reach those buyers, and partners are paid for the work they deliver in their regions.

IRevenue

What the company is paid for.

Each is tied to something a customer receives: equipment, a working system, a running site, software, data or a level of service.

01

Hardware and integration

A margin on the equipment we supply, from our own lines and from listed suppliers, and on the systems we design and integrate around it.

02

The marketplace

A take rate on what listed suppliers, software partners and resellers sell to buyers through the Field Deployment Studio.

03

Managed sites and services

Fees for running sites and fleets on a customer’s behalf, and for survey, installation, calibration and repair.

04

Software and fleet licences

Licences for the software that runs on the equipment and for the tools that manage fleets of it.

05

Data licensing

Licences for our Earth observation products and digital twins, on stated terms for each use. Data products from listed suppliers are sold through the marketplace.

06

Service-level tiers

Higher tiers of response time and availability, contracted per site and measured against the site’s own record.

IIThe marketplace

One market, three sides.

Our own lines are sold directly. Everything else a system needs is offered in the Field Deployment Studio by listed suppliers and partners, and delivered under one contract with Nexus Observatory Inc.

Buyers

Configure, then contract once

Buyers design stations, edge nodes and networks from device classes and listed items, request one quote and contract with us alone. They pay for the equipment, the integration and the services they choose.

Suppliers

List, qualify, sell

Hardware makers and software vendors list their products, qualify them against the open Observatory Protocol and receive orders through the Field Deployment Studio. The company keeps a take rate or a revenue share on each sale.
