Macro, small cells, DAS and repeaters.

Technologies

• Macro sites Tower and rooftop base stations that carry wide-area coverage and most traffic.
• Small cells Medium-range and local-area base stations for capacity hotspots, streets, campuses and indoor spaces.
• Distributed antenna systems Passive, active and digital DAS that spread one or more operators' signals through buildings, tunnels and venues.
• Repeaters and network-controlled repeaters RF repeaters, including beam- and TDD-aware repeaters controlled by the gNB, for low-cost coverage extension.
• Integrated access and backhaul NR used to backhaul other NR cells wirelessly, useful where fibre or microwave is impractical.
• Public-safety in-building coverage Emergency responder radio coverage systems required in many buildings by fire and building codes.
• Rapid-deploy and transportable cells Cells on wheels, trailers and portable kits for events, outages and disaster response.
• Site engineering and structures Structural analysis, mounting, power and grounding for new and shared towers and rooftops.
• RF exposure assessment Calculation and measurement of RF exposure around antennas to the applicable limits before and after build.
