  1. Infrastructure · Use cases

Assets that report their own condition

Structural and ground-movement monitoring for bridges, dams, tunnels and slopes, drone survey and 3D twins for construction, satellite interferometry over whole networks, and deployable kits for the site before the permanent network exists. Needs: displacement and deformation, vibration and strain, ground movement over wide areas, as-built geometry and site connectivity during construction.

  2. Use case

Mine site private 5G and environmental monitoring

A standalone 5G core, radios across the pit and edge compute for autonomy, with dust, vibration, slope and weather sensing for environmental records. For mining companies and their contractors. Data products: autonomy and safety communications records and environmental monitoring records (dust, blast vibration, slope, tailings).

    Standards
    3GPP Rel-16/17 URLLC · ISO 17757 (autonomous mining machinery safety) · GISTM (tailings) · ISA/IEC 62443
  3. Use case

    Street flood observatory

Ultrasonic depth sensors on poles report street-level water depth as open data and alerts. For cities, emergency management agencies and universities. Data products: street-level water depth time series and open data feed and alerts to emergency management and 311. Drawn against OGC SensorThings API 1.1 and Municipal open-data terms.

    Standards
OGC SensorThings API 1.1 · Municipal open-data terms
  4. Use case

    Hybrid air-quality observatory

A few reference analysers and many low-cost nodes, with co-location calibration and an open-data feed. For cities, public-health units, school districts. Data products: air-quality index and hyperlocal maps, labelled supplementary, calibrated time series with quality flags and publication route to an open air-quality aggregator.

    Standards
EU Directive 2024/2881 (ambient air quality) · CEN/TS 17660 (sensor systems) · US EPA FEM/FRM reference methods
  5. Use case

Utility grid-edge private LTE and wildfire weather

Private LTE on substations and poles for distribution automation, with weather nodes that inform public-safety power shutoff decisions. For electric utilities. Data products: fault location, isolation and service restoration telemetry, distributed-energy control and islanding events and wildfire-risk weather observations. Drawn against 3GPP Band 106, IEC 61850, IEEE 1547 / 2030.5 and NERC CIP.

    Standards
    3GPP Band 106 · IEC 61850 · IEEE 1547 / 2030.5 · NERC CIP
  6. Use case

    Methane fenceline observatory

Point sensors on the fenceline with optical gas imaging and quantification, feeding leak-detection reports. For oil and gas operators. Data products: leak-detection survey records and site-level emission estimates with uncertainty. Drawn against Regulation (EU) 2024/1787 and OGMP 2.0 reporting levels.

    Standards
Regulation (EU) 2024/1787 · OGMP 2.0 reporting levels
  7. Trust

Every node proves what it is

A node joins only after its hardware root of trust answers an attestation challenge. Keys stay in secure hardware, software arrives signed, and every reading carries a signature, so its origin can be checked by anyone downstream without asking us.

  8. Time and place

Every reading carries when and where

Readings are stamped against a disciplined clock, from satellite time or a PTP grandmaster, together with the station position and its siting record. When time or position is degraded, the record says so instead of hiding it, and every analyst downstream sees the same warning.

  9. How it scales

    One base unit, repeated

A programme starts with one base node and the instruments it reads. A station adds power and radio, a site adds a relay, a fleet repeats the proven site across many places, and a network federates fleets through edge and core. Capacity grows by adding units, never by replacing what works.

  10. Updates

    Updates in rings, with rollback

Software and configuration reach the fleet in rings: a canary site first, then a few, then all, each ring gated on health and data completeness. A failed gate stops the wave and returns each node to its last good release, without a site visit.

  11. Operations

Every node watched, every incident closed

The operations console shows every node with its state, its plan and its evidence. Alerts arrive with their data and a runbook; acknowledging one opens a work order, and an incident closes only when the cause is recorded and the fix verified.

  12. What you get

    Structural and ground-movement monitoring

GNSS, InSAR, tilt, strain and fibre sensing on bridges, dams, slopes, tailings and pipelines, with alert thresholds set by the owner. Delivered as managed service and data licence, for infrastructure, mining and pipeline operators, transport agencies. Scale: Asset portfolios. Service levels are written as numbers you can measure on your own dashboard.

    Plan an infrastructure deployment

Tell us the sites, the measurements and the people who will use them. We reply with a design and a scope for infrastructure. An engineer replies with a survey proposal and a scope, and the plan grows from one site to the network you need, at your pace.

Each field has its own setup.

The measurements, radio, power and crew work differ from one field to the next. Open a field for its full stack, from order to operation.

Specialized field

Construction sites

Dust, noise and vibration at the site boundary, wind for cranes and lifts, and site cameras, on cellular from the hoarding, so a site keeps its permit limits and answers its neighbours with evidence. The full field →
Specialized field

Excavations and tunnelling

Settlement and movement of the ground and nearby buildings, pore pressure, wall deflection and vibration during deep excavations and tunnel drives, with automatic total stations and GNSS, under the observational method. The full field →

Structural health of major structures

Vibration, strain, movement and wind on long-span bridges, towers, stadium roofs and tall buildings in service, on fibre and an industrial network, so engineers see how a structure behaves between inspections. The full field →

Levees and coastal defences

Pore pressure and seepage, settlement, water levels, waves and overtopping on levees, dikes and sea walls, on LoRaWAN and microwave, so defence managers see weak sections before the flood finds them. The full field →

Heritage buildings

Crack and tilt movement, vibration from traffic and works, and indoor climate for collections in historic buildings in use, on LoRaWAN with nothing drilled that does not have to be, so conservation decisions rest on evidence. The full field →
