Gateways and edge.

6 technologies in ioT, LPWAN and mesh.

Technologies

LPWAN gateways and network servers Multi-channel gateways, network servers and join servers that terminate LPWAN traffic.
Multi-radio edge gateways Gateways that combine LPWAN, cellular, mesh and field buses with local compute.
Store-and-forward and delay-tolerant networking Buffering and custody transfer so data survives backhaul outages.
Time synchronisation Common time for timestamps, TDMA scheduling and event correlation.
Backhaul selection and failover Choosing between fibre, cellular, microwave and satellite per site, with automatic failover.
Protocol translation at the edge Mapping field buses and vendor payloads to common models before data leaves the site.
