Resilient PNT.

Technologies

• Resilient PNT frameworks Structured ways to assess and raise how well equipment resists, detects and recovers from PNT disruption.
• Terrestrial radionavigation (eLoran-type) High-power low-frequency signals that are hard to jam and provide time and position independent of GNSS.
• Time over fibre Delivering time from a national or regional reference over terrestrial fibre as a GNSS-independent source.
• Terrestrial beacon systems Ground transmitters giving indoor and urban positioning and timing.
• 5G as a timing source Delivering accurate time to devices over 5G for industrial and utility uses.
• Inertial and multi-sensor navigation IMUs fused with odometry, vision and barometry to bridge GNSS outages.
• LEO PNT Navigation and timing from low-orbit constellations with stronger signals and faster geometry change than GNSS.
• Optical clocks and quantum navigation sensors Clocks and cold-atom inertial sensors that could hold time and position far longer without external signals.
• Signals-of-opportunity navigation Positioning from existing cellular, broadcast and satellite signals not built for navigation.
