# What we deliver for infrastructure.

Enterprise offers, each designed, deployed and run on the open protocol, and each linked to the service platforms that build it.

[Use cases](https://observatory.global/industries/infrastructure/use-cases/)

[Open the explainer](https://observatory.global/industries/infrastructure/explainer/)

Reference design, drawn to scale · drag to turn

1. Infrastructure · Solutions Assets that report their own condition Structural and ground-movement monitoring for bridges, dams, tunnels and slopes, drone survey and 3D twins for construction, satellite interferometry over whole networks, and deployable kits for the site before the permanent network exists. Needs: displacement and deformation, vibration and strain, ground movement over wide areas, as-built geometry and site connectivity during construction.
2. Solution Structural and ground-movement monitoring GNSS, InSAR, tilt, strain and fibre sensing on bridges, dams, slopes, tailings and pipelines, with alert thresholds set by the owner. For infrastructure, mining and pipeline operators, transport agencies. Delivered as managed service and data licence. Asset portfolios. The same design repeats from the first site to the last. [Talk to sales](https://observatory.global/contact/sales-enquiry/)
3. Solution Drone survey and 3D site twins Survey campaigns planned to the ground sample distance, photogrammetry and LiDAR, and site twins kept current. For utilities, mines, construction, telecom. Delivered as professional services and data licence. Per site; recurring campaigns. It runs on the open Observatory Protocol, so other providers can join. [Talk to sales](https://observatory.global/contact/sales-enquiry/)
4. Solution Deployable connectivity and sensing kits A cell on wheels with satellite backhaul, mesh telemetry and environment nodes for incident bases and events. For emergency agencies, humanitarian logistics, event operators. Delivered as rental and managed service. Pre-positioned fleets. Crews, software and records stay the same as the network grows. [Talk to sales](https://observatory.global/contact/sales-enquiry/)
5. Solution Earth observation tasking, processing and change detection SAR and optical acquisition planning, analysis-ready processing and change detection checked against field truth, delivered as STAC and COG. For insurers, lenders, agencies, infrastructure and resource operators. Delivered as data licence and professional services. Global. Changes are versioned, tested and reversible. [Talk to sales](https://observatory.global/contact/sales-enquiry/)
6. Solution Physical condition data for lenders and asset owners EO and sensor evidence on the physical state of collateral and assets: flood extent, subsidence, construction progress, land cover. For banks, asset managers, development lenders. Delivered as data licence. Portfolio scale. Every reading and every change leaves a record that can be checked later. [Talk to sales](https://observatory.global/contact/sales-enquiry/)
7. Scenario Mine-wide private LTE or 5G with environmental sensing Autonomy communications plus dust, blast vibration, slope and tailings monitoring. It builds on the same base node, timing, trust and operations as every other infrastructure deployment, so it can start small and grow site by site. Service levels are written as numbers you can measure.
8. Scenario Utility private LTE for the grid edge Distribution automation, distributed-energy control and wildfire-risk weather on a dedicated band. It builds on the same base node, timing, trust and operations as every other infrastructure deployment, so it can start small and grow site by site. It runs on the open Observatory Protocol, so other providers can join.
9. How it works From instrument to record, in one chain An instrument reads; the base node checks the value, stamps time and place, signs it and sends it over the link the site has: cellular, LoRaWAN, private 5G or satellite. The edge verifies the signature before admitting it, and the core catalogues it with its metadata, quality flag and licence.
10. Trust Every node proves what it is A node joins only after its hardware root of trust answers an attestation challenge. Keys stay in secure hardware, software arrives signed, and every reading carries a signature, so its origin can be checked by anyone downstream without asking us.
11. Time and place Every reading carries when and where Readings are stamped against a disciplined clock, from satellite time or a PTP grandmaster, together with the station position and its siting record. When time or position is degraded, the record says so instead of hiding it, and every analyst downstream sees the same warning.
12. What you get Open where it can be, contracted where it must be The protocol, methods and open data are free to use and build on. Sites, fleets, managed operations and data tiers are delivered under contract by Nexus Observatory Inc., priced per site and per fleet, with service levels written as numbers you can measure on your own dashboard.
13. Next step Plan an infrastructure deployment Tell us the sites, the measurements and the people who will use them. We reply with a design and a scope for infrastructure. An engineer replies with a survey proposal and a scope, and the plan grows from one site to the network you need, at your pace. **01** Specialized fields

## Solutions shaped for each field.

Every offer is configured for the field it serves. Open a field for its stack, its data path and the questions buyers ask.

[Specialized field Construction sitesDust, noise and vibration at the site boundary, wind for cranes and lifts, and site cameras, on cellular from the hoarding, so a site keeps its permit limits and answers its neighbours with evidence. The full field →](https://observatory.global/industries/infrastructure/construction-sites/)

[Specialized field Excavations and tunnellingSettlement and movement of the ground and nearby buildings, pore pressure, wall deflection and vibration during deep excavations and tunnel drives, with automatic total stations and GNSS, under the observational method. The full field →](https://observatory.global/industries/infrastructure/excavations-tunnelling/)

[Specialized field Structural health of major structuresVibration, strain, movement and wind on long-span bridges, towers, stadium roofs and tall buildings in service, on fibre and an industrial network, so engineers see how a structure behaves between inspections. The full field →](https://observatory.global/industries/infrastructure/structural-health/)

[Specialized field Levees and coastal defencesPore pressure and seepage, settlement, water levels, waves and overtopping on levees, dikes and sea walls, on LoRaWAN and microwave, so defence managers see weak sections before the flood finds them. The full field →](https://observatory.global/industries/infrastructure/levees-coastal/)

[Specialized field Heritage buildingsCrack and tilt movement, vibration from traffic and works, and indoor climate for collections in historic buildings in use, on LoRaWAN with nothing drilled that does not have to be, so conservation decisions rest on evidence. The full field →](https://observatory.global/industries/infrastructure/heritage-buildings/)

**02** Solution bundles

## Start with one unit. Grow to a network.

The same systems at every scale, on the open protocol, so nothing you buy is replaced as you grow.

1. **01** Base unit One station or node, specified for this industry: instruments, power, enclosure and backhaul. [Build a station →](https://observatory.global/studio/builder/)
2. **02** Site A surveyed, commissioned site with its timing, its links and the evidence file a buyer can audit. [Plan a site →](https://observatory.global/contact/deployment/)
3. **03** Fleet Many sites run as one service: one plan, one update path, one evidence trail, one service level. [Managed offers →](https://observatory.global/industries/infrastructure/solutions/)
4. **04** Network Fleets that federate with partner grids through the open protocol, owner by owner. [The open protocol →](https://observatory.global/protocol/)

## Before you scope it.

Who sells, and who owns the data?

Nexus Observatory Inc. is the seller of record. The data your systems collect stays yours, under the licence you choose.

Do we have to buy hardware?

No. We deliver as a managed service, a data licence or a system you own.

Can we start small?

Yes. Start with one station or one site, then grow to a fleet and a network on the same open protocol, without replacing what you bought.

Which standards do the systems meet?

Each system is drawn against the open protocol and the standards it is composed from, listed on this page.

What happens after go-live?

We run the systems to a written service level, with monitoring, repair and an evidence trail, or train your team to run them.
