# What we deliver for humanitarian.

Enterprise offers, each designed, deployed and run on the open protocol, and each linked to the service platforms that build it.

[Plan a deployment](https://observatory.global/contact/deployment/)

[Use cases](https://observatory.global/industries/humanitarian/use-cases/)

[Open the explainer](https://observatory.global/industries/humanitarian/explainer/)

1. Humanitarian · Solutions Observation where the need is greatest and the grid is thinnest Deployable connectivity and sensing for displacement sites and crisis response, observing-network gap filling where stations are fewest, satellite backhaul where nothing else reaches, and evidence funders can audit. Needs: weather and water where stations are missing, connectivity at camps and field offices, off-grid power, hazard exposure and audit-ready evidence for funders.
2. Solution Deployable connectivity and sensing kits A cell on wheels with satellite backhaul, mesh telemetry and environment nodes for incident bases and events. For emergency agencies, humanitarian logistics, event operators. Delivered as rental and managed service. Pre-positioned fleets. Crews, software and records stay the same as the network grows. [Talk to sales](https://observatory.global/contact/sales-enquiry/)
3. Solution National observing network programmes Build-operate-transfer of national observing infrastructure as digital public infrastructure, with transfer of skills and records. For governments, development lenders financing them. Delivered as build-operate-transfer and professional services. National. It is delivered and supported by Nexus Observatory Inc. The evidence travels with the data wherever it goes. [Talk to sales](https://observatory.global/contact/sales-enquiry/)
4. Solution Satellite and non-terrestrial backhaul LEO and GEO backhaul, 3GPP non-terrestrial integration and direct-to-device fallbacks for remote sites. For remote operators, humanitarian logistics, utilities. Delivered as managed service. Any latitude with coverage. It runs on the open Observatory Protocol, so other providers can join. Crews, software and records stay the same as the network grows. [Talk to sales](https://observatory.global/contact/sales-enquiry/)
5. Solution Earth observation tasking, processing and change detection SAR and optical acquisition planning, analysis-ready processing and change detection checked against field truth, delivered as STAC and COG. For insurers, lenders, agencies, infrastructure and resource operators. Delivered as data licence and professional services. Global. Changes are versioned, tested and reversible. [Talk to sales](https://observatory.global/contact/sales-enquiry/)
6. Solution Microgrids and off-grid site power PV, storage and generator sizing for instruments and edge sites, with telemetry and remote control. For remote sites, telecom, agencies, communities. Delivered as hardware + software and managed service. Per site; fleets. Every reading and every change leaves a record that can be checked later. [Talk to sales](https://observatory.global/contact/sales-enquiry/)
7. Scenario School connectivity with a school observatory Satellite or fixed wireless, school Wi-Fi, an open connectivity probe and an optional station. It builds on the same base node, timing, trust and operations as every other humanitarian deployment, so it can start small and grow site by site.
8. Scenario Displacement-site connectivity and sensing Point-to-multipoint wireless, satellite backhaul, solar and water-point sensors with protection safeguards. It builds on the same base node, timing, trust and operations as every other humanitarian deployment, so it can start small and grow site by site. Changes are versioned, tested and reversible.
9. How it works From instrument to record, in one chain An instrument reads; the base node checks the value, stamps time and place, signs it and sends it over the link the site has: cellular, LoRaWAN, private 5G or satellite. The edge verifies the signature before admitting it, and the core catalogues it with its metadata, quality flag and licence.
10. Trust Every node proves what it is A node joins only after its hardware root of trust answers an attestation challenge. Keys stay in secure hardware, software arrives signed, and every reading carries a signature, so its origin can be checked by anyone downstream without asking us.
11. Time and place Every reading carries when and where Readings are stamped against a disciplined clock, from satellite time or a PTP grandmaster, together with the station position and its siting record. When time or position is degraded, the record says so instead of hiding it, and every analyst downstream sees the same warning.
12. What you get Open where it can be, contracted where it must be The protocol, methods and open data are free to use and build on. Sites, fleets, managed operations and data tiers are delivered under contract by Nexus Observatory Inc., priced per site and per fleet, with service levels written as numbers you can measure on your own dashboard.
13. Next step Plan a humanitarian deployment Tell us the sites, the measurements and the people who will use them. We reply with a design and a scope for humanitarian. An engineer replies with a survey proposal and a scope, and the plan grows from one site to the network you need, at your pace. **03**

### Deploy and run

Installation, commissioning on test, then operation by your team or ours, with evidence on record.

**07** Questions buyers ask

## Before you scope it.

Who sells, and who owns the data?

Nexus Observatory Inc. is the seller of record. The data your systems collect stays yours, under the licence you choose.

Do we have to buy hardware?

No. We deliver as a managed service, a data licence or a system you own.

Can we start small?

Yes. Start with one station or one site, then grow to a fleet and a network on the same open protocol, without replacing what you bought.

Which standards do the systems meet?

Each system is drawn against the open protocol and the standards it is composed from, listed on this page.

What happens after go-live?

We run the systems to a written service level, with monitoring, repair and an evidence trail, or train your team to run them.
