# What we deliver for energy.

Enterprise offers, each designed, deployed and run on the open protocol, and each linked to the service platforms that build it.

[Use cases](https://observatory.global/industries/energy/use-cases/)

[Open the explainer](https://observatory.global/industries/energy/explainer/)

1. Energy · Solutions The grid edge, observed Right-of-way and line monitoring, fire weather along transmission corridors, microgrids and site power, timing for protection and synchrophasors, and resource measurement for solar and wind that a lender can rely on. Needs: line and right-of-way condition, fire weather along corridors, solar and wind resource, timing for protection and substation and site power.
2. Solution Power-grid edge and right-of-way monitoring Line temperature and sag, vegetation encroachment from EO and LiDAR, substation sensors and fire-weather at the right-of-way. For electric utilities and transmission operators. Delivered as managed service and data licence. Utility service territories. It runs on the open Observatory Protocol, so other providers can join. [Talk to sales](https://observatory.global/contact/sales-enquiry/)
3. Solution Microgrids and off-grid site power PV, storage and generator sizing for instruments and edge sites, with telemetry and remote control. For remote sites, telecom, agencies, communities. Delivered as hardware + software and managed service. Per site; fleets. Every reading and every change leaves a record that can be checked later. [Talk to sales](https://observatory.global/contact/sales-enquiry/)
4. Solution Timing and positioning integrity PTP grandmasters with GNSS holdover, interference detection and timing monitoring for networks and instruments. For carriers, utilities, financial infrastructure, observatories. Delivered as hardware + software and managed service. National timing fabrics. The same design repeats from the first site to the last. [Talk to sales](https://observatory.global/contact/sales-enquiry/)
5. Solution Modular edge data centre (AI tower in a box) A containerised edge data centre at the foot of a tower: GPU nodes, power, cooling and attestation, run as a service. For carriers, utilities, governments, industrial sites. Delivered as hardware + software and managed service. Regional edge capacity. Crews, software and records stay the same as the network grows. [Talk to sales](https://observatory.global/contact/sales-enquiry/)
6. Solution Wildfire camera and fire-weather networks Camera towers with edge inference and co-located fire-weather stations; detections go to the agency that decides and dispatches. For forestry and emergency agencies, utilities. Delivered as hardware + software and managed service. Regional networks across fire seasons. Crews, software and records stay the same as the network grows. [Talk to sales](https://observatory.global/contact/sales-enquiry/)
7. Scenario Bankable solar and wind measurement campaigns Accepted standards, traceable calibration and transparent data handling. It builds on the same base node, timing, trust and operations as every other energy deployment, so it can start small and grow site by site. The same design repeats from the first site to the last.
8. Scenario Remote-community microgrid monitoring See communities. It builds on the same base node, timing, trust and operations as every other energy deployment, so it can start small and grow site by site. Service levels are written as numbers you can measure. It is delivered and supported by Nexus Observatory Inc.
9. How it works From instrument to record, in one chain An instrument reads; the base node checks the value, stamps time and place, signs it and sends it over the link the site has: cellular, LoRaWAN, private 5G or satellite. The edge verifies the signature before admitting it, and the core catalogues it with its metadata, quality flag and licence.
10. Trust Every node proves what it is A node joins only after its hardware root of trust answers an attestation challenge. Keys stay in secure hardware, software arrives signed, and every reading carries a signature, so its origin can be checked by anyone downstream without asking us.
11. Time and place Every reading carries when and where Readings are stamped against a disciplined clock, from satellite time or a PTP grandmaster, together with the station position and its siting record. When time or position is degraded, the record says so instead of hiding it, and every analyst downstream sees the same warning.
12. What you get Open where it can be, contracted where it must be The protocol, methods and open data are free to use and build on. Sites, fleets, managed operations and data tiers are delivered under contract by Nexus Observatory Inc., priced per site and per fleet, with service levels written as numbers you can measure on your own dashboard.
13. Next step Plan an energy deployment Tell us the sites, the measurements and the people who will use them. We reply with a design and a scope for energy. An engineer replies with a survey proposal and a scope, and the plan grows from one site to the network you need, at your pace. ### Scope

What you need to observe, where, and to what standard. A written scope you can share internally.

**02**

### Design

Survey, a reference design, a bill of materials and a plan, drawn against the protocol and the standards.

**03**

### Deploy and run

**07** Questions buyers ask

## Before you scope it.

Who sells, and who owns the data?

Nexus Observatory Inc. is the seller of record. The data your systems collect stays yours, under the licence you choose.

Do we have to buy hardware?

No. We deliver as a managed service, a data licence or a system you own.

Can we start small?

Yes. Start with one station or one site, then grow to a fleet and a network on the same open protocol, without replacing what you bought.

Which standards do the systems meet?

Each system is drawn against the open protocol and the standards it is composed from, listed on this page.

What happens after go-live?

We run the systems to a written service level, with monitoring, repair and an evidence trail, or train your team to run them.

### Ready when you are.
