# What we deliver for agriculture.

Enterprise offers, each designed, deployed and run on the open protocol, and each linked to the service platforms that build it.

Reference design, drawn to scale · drag to turn

1. Agriculture · Solutions Farm decisions on measured ground Agrometeorological stations and soil-moisture profiles, frost and disease alerts, low-power coverage across the farm, crop condition from orbit and drone, and cooperative networks where neighbours share one grid. Needs: soil moisture and evapotranspiration, frost, heat and disease risk, crop condition, water use and coverage across fields.
2. Solution Agricultural field observatories Soil moisture profiles, micro-weather and evapotranspiration with irrigation thresholds per field. For growers, agribusiness, irrigation districts, crop insurers. Delivered as managed service and data licence. Farm to region. The evidence travels with the data wherever it goes. Every reading and every change leaves a record that can be checked later. [Talk to sales](https://observatory.global/contact/sales-enquiry/)
3. Solution Earth observation tasking, processing and change detection SAR and optical acquisition planning, analysis-ready processing and change detection checked against field truth, delivered as STAC and COG. For insurers, lenders, agencies, infrastructure and resource operators. Delivered as data licence and professional services. Global. Changes are versioned, tested and reversible. [Talk to sales](https://observatory.global/contact/sales-enquiry/)
4. Solution Sensing as a Service Observation networks designed, installed, operated and maintained for a monthly fee: weather, hydromet, air, seismic and environmental stations, with data delivered under a licence. For agencies, utilities, municipalities, insurers, agribusiness. Delivered as managed service and data licence. Global, multi-site, per-site pricing. [Talk to sales](https://observatory.global/contact/sales-enquiry/)
5. Solution Drone survey and 3D site twins Survey campaigns planned to the ground sample distance, photogrammetry and LiDAR, and site twins kept current. For utilities, mines, construction, telecom. Delivered as professional services and data licence. Per site; recurring campaigns. It runs on the open Observatory Protocol, so other providers can join. [Talk to sales](https://observatory.global/contact/sales-enquiry/)
6. Scenario Farm or cooperative agromet network with crop models Compact stations and soil probes feeding irrigation, disease and frost models. It builds on the same base node, timing, trust and operations as every other agriculture deployment, so it can start small and grow site by site. The same design repeats from the first site to the last.
7. Scenario Smallholder and parametric-insurance station networks Station density and tamper evidence for index insurance. It builds on the same base node, timing, trust and operations as every other agriculture deployment, so it can start small and grow site by site. The evidence travels with the data wherever it goes.
8. How it works From instrument to record, in one chain An instrument reads; the base node checks the value, stamps time and place, signs it and sends it over the link the site has: cellular, LoRaWAN, private 5G or satellite. The edge verifies the signature before admitting it, and the core catalogues it with its metadata, quality flag and licence.
9. Trust Every node proves what it is A node joins only after its hardware root of trust answers an attestation challenge. Keys stay in secure hardware, software arrives signed, and every reading carries a signature, so its origin can be checked by anyone downstream without asking us.
10. Time and place Every reading carries when and where Readings are stamped against a disciplined clock, from satellite time or a PTP grandmaster, together with the station position and its siting record. When time or position is degraded, the record says so instead of hiding it, and every analyst downstream sees the same warning.
11. How it scales One base unit, repeated A programme starts with one base node and the instruments it reads. A station adds power and radio, a site adds a relay, a fleet repeats the proven site across many places, and a network federates fleets through edge and core. Capacity grows by adding units, never by replacing what works.
12. What you get Open where it can be, contracted where it must be The protocol, methods and open data are free to use and build on. Sites, fleets, managed operations and data tiers are delivered under contract by Nexus Observatory Inc., priced per site and per fleet, with service levels written as numbers you can measure on your own dashboard.
13. Next step Plan an agriculture deployment Tell us the sites, the measurements and the people who will use them. We reply with a design and a scope for agriculture. An engineer replies with a survey proposal and a scope, and the plan grows from one site to the network you need, at your pace. **07** Questions buyers ask

## Before you scope it.

Who sells, and who owns the data?

Nexus Observatory Inc. is the seller of record. The data your systems collect stays yours, under the licence you choose.

Do we have to buy hardware?

No. We deliver as a managed service, a data licence or a system you own.

Can we start small?

Yes. Start with one station or one site, then grow to a fleet and a network on the same open protocol, without replacing what you bought.

Which standards do the systems meet?

Each system is drawn against the open protocol and the standards it is composed from, listed on this page.

What happens after go-live?

We run the systems to a written service level, with monitoring, repair and an evidence trail, or train your team to run them.
