  • Local 5G, 28 GHz 28.2–29.1 GHz · Local 5G for very high capacity on a site.
  • 920 MHz specified low-power stations (LPWA) 920.5–928.1 MHz · Sensor networks, smart meters and LPWA.

Licensing

  • Local 5G station licence Apply to the MIC regional bureau for a radio station licence at 4.6–4.9 GHz or 28.2–29.1 GHz for a site; local businesses, local governments and other entities may apply.
  • Specified low-power stations, 920 MHz No licence up to 20 mW at 920.5–928.1 MHz, with the transmission-time and carrier-sense rules of the technical standard.
